Scientific Writing Workshop Webinar – Part 1
This Webinar aims to develop scientific writing skills specific to biomedical science students. This interactive session will highlight the fundamentals of laboratory report formulation, enabling students to acquire new skills and to advance pre-existing experience in a time where face-to-face learning is restricted. The first session will be targeted at the needs of first and second-year students, while the second session will be targeted at the needs of third and final year students.
Scientific Writing Workshop Webinar – Part 2
Format: this workshop is geared towards 3rd and final year students who are preparing to start their final year projects. It will be run as a questions and answers session, so that the students can get the most out of it. We will be asking students to submit their questions in advance via a google form ( CLICK HERE ) and also through polls on our social media channels.
Róisín Spriggs will chair the session and ask the questions, acting as the voice of the students. Dr. Brigid Lucey & Katie O’Brien will answer question

The HSCP Professional Development Network have produced a video describing what reflective learning is all about. This is reference material and is a must “view” for all Medical Scientists. The video also contains numerous clips from HSCP’s on how they use reflective learning during their working day. There is also information on “Self-Awarding CPD Credits”. The ACSLM had an important input in this production.
