About Science Week

Science Week is a week-long event in Ireland each November, celebrating science in our everyday lives. Science Week includes a wide variety of events involving industry, colleges, schools, libraries, teachers, researchers and students throughout Ireland. Science Week has a number of regional festivals offering a range of opportunities for the public to engage with STEM across Ireland.

St James’s Hospital celebrate the 40-year milestone of Bone Marrow Transplant

What’s it about: In 1984, Ireland’s first Allogeneic Bone Marrow Transplant was carried out in St James’s Hospital. We wish to invite you to celebrate the 40-year milestone of this life saving service, where we will host an academic day examining both the scientific and clinical side to this life-saving treatment.
