SPEC2022 – 12th International Conference on Clinical Spectroscopy 19 – 23rd June 2022

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to SPEC 2022 in Dublin, Ireland’s capital and at Ireland’s first Technological University, TU Dublin.

This conference will have a translational focus, aiming to draw together researchers, industrial representatives and clinicians to showcase and advance spectroscopic analysis and imaging towards clinical application. Our biomedical and clinical collaborators will be presented with the astonishing diagnostic and prognostic capabilities of spectroscopic analysis and imaging technologies, to promote their clinical adoption and to encourage them to influence the direction of future research within the SPEC community. As this will be the 12th conference in the SPEC series it will be an opportunity for all of us to take stock of how far the community has advanced and assess the challenges that remain in this exciting and rapidly developing multidisciplinary field.
