Guidelines for safe and effective near-patient testing (NPT) – 2021 Update

The National Near-Patient Testing (NPT) Consultative Group have been revising the Irish National Near-Patient Testing Guidelines over the past two years. Due to the unique circumstances of the coronavirus pandemic, we released a final Beta-Version on April 20, 2020 in the interests of having an updated authoritative guideline available and to provide an opportunity for early feedback.
Further updates are now included in this version released on April 21, 2021 which is valid until April 21, 2022. Comments on this version should be emailed to pathology@rcpi.ie.
